The gouffre de l' œil doux

The Gouffre de l’Œil Doux is a spectacular natural site located in the heart of the La Clape Massif, near Saint-Pierre-la-Mer. Surrounded by impressive limestone cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation, it is famous for its beautiful emerald-green waters. A pleasant walk through the natural landscape leads to the site and offers visitors the opportunity to discover the typical scenery of La Clape, with pine forests, Mediterranean scrubland and beautiful views. During the summer, access to the La Clape Massif may be restricted or temporarily closed depending on the risk of forest fires. Visitors are therefore advised to check the access conditions before their visit, especially during periods of hot and dry weather. Swimming in the Gouffre de l’Œil Doux is prohibited.
